There may be a point where you will get tired of hearing me reference Marie Kondo’s book, The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing, but I can assure you that I only do this because I truly believe this book (along with the other books that I mentioned here) helped me tackle depression and find joy in life and in the home.
If you have read The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing, but cannot figure out where to start? No worries, I have created a KonMari checklist to help you tackle the clutter and find your inner spark. This checklist has broad categories such as clothing, books, paper, and komono. I further break down each category into smaller categories. Full disclosure, I found several lists on the interwebs and combined them into one list that suited my needs.
If you are anything like me, you will get pleasure out of seeing a checklist being completed. So, don’t forget to check the boxes off beside each category and subcategory as you complete each line item. Access the checklist by clicking this link -> Ultimate KonMari Checklist
Need the motivation to help you get into the right mindset? Check out my previous post, Stop Drowning, Start Surviving where I give tips on preparing to declutter your life.
The checklist is in PDF format so you will need a PDF reader to access the file. You can download Adobe Reader for free here. If you are having any issues downloading and viewing the file please let me know!
